Advance Auto Products: Terms and Conditions

    1.      Estimates & Work Authorization

    -          We will provide a written estimate for repairs before commencing work.

    -          The estimate will detail parts, labor, and any taxes.

    2.      Additional Costs & Changes

    -          In unforeseen circumstances requiring additional repairs beyond the initial estimate, we will             contact you for authorization before proceeding.

    -          You have the right to approve or decline additional work.

    3.      Customer supplied parts

    -          We strictly do not allow customer to supply parts.

    4.      Aftermarket parts

    -          We highly recommend installing OEM parts. We understand that the customer may wish to install             aftermarket parts due to their cost advantages.

    -          We will ensure that we take all the precautions when sourcing and purchasing aftermarket parts             from reputable suppliers.

    -          It is to be noted Aftermarket parts may not always fit & work as well as OEM parts. Their                 quality may also be lower than that of OEM.

    5.      Payment Terms

    -          All productive labor hours are billable.

    -          Payment is due upon completion of repairs. The vehicle will not be released until full payment             is received.

    -          We accept Mpesa or Credit Cards only. Cash is not accepted.

    -          We may a require a deposit before commencing the work.

    6.      Workmanship

    -          We warrant our work will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of 3 days from the               date of completion.

    -          Defects in workmanship are defined as any flaws or errors in the repair process that deviate               from the industry standards and negatively affect the functionality of your vehicle.

    7.      Customer Responsibilities

    -          You are responsible for informing us of any known pre-existing vehicle conditions.

    -          You are responsible for timely pick-up of your vehicle to avoid storage charges. Late vehicle             pick up will result in charges of KSH 1500 per day.

    8.      Disclaimer of Liability

    -          We are not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as               parts availability.

    -          We are not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle.

    9.      Termination of Service

    -          We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate work on a vehicle at our discretion.
